This Privacy Policy governs how Fasted ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information from users ("User" or "you") of the Fasted mobile application ("App") and https://getfasted.app ("Website").

1. Local-First Design

Fasted is designed as a local-first application. Your fasting data — including fasts, protocols, streaks, history, and settings — is stored entirely on your device. We do not operate user accounts, and your fasting data is never uploaded to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous usage data and crash reports. This helps us understand how the App is used and fix issues. This data does not include your fasting records or personal health information. It may include device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage patterns.

2.2 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Fasted Pro, your purchase is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — we do not collect your name, email, or payment details. Your payment information is handled entirely by Apple or Google.

2.3 No Personal Information

Fasted does not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.

3. Information Usage

The limited data we collect is used solely to:

  • Improve app stability and fix crashes
  • Understand general usage patterns to improve the App
  • Manage subscription entitlements for Fasted Pro

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent any user information to third parties. Anonymous analytics data is shared only with our service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat) for the purposes described above. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your fasting data is stored locally on your device using an SQLite database and is not transmitted to any server. If you uninstall the App, your local data will be deleted. We implement reasonable measures to protect the anonymous analytics data we do collect.

6. Notifications

Fasted may send local notifications to remind you about your fasting schedule. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Fasted is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be indicated by an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
